Up early again and the excitement and joy hasn’t worn off even though it’s going to be a bit more mundane until it’s time to put the trusses up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew has just phoned with a task list for us and for Scott and Eoghain. We have to do some work on the shed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other two have to get on with levelling the panels and putting the timbers round the top to add strength to the construction and bind them panels together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are faced with the challenge of wrapping the shed in a breather membrane. This helps protect the timber during construction and when the house is finished allows it to ‘breathe’ to prevent build up of moisture in the frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have had to give up after attaching the bottom strip because we only have one platform to stand on and the membrane needs to be wrapped in continious strips which would need two or a scaffolding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s time to tidy up and head off to Oban for a wee bit of shopping because we are having a visit from Zadjil and Carolyn, our son and his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
